SOUND
During last lesson we completed the sound for the opening to our childrens film. It is calm and has a magical feel to it which will appeal to children. It consists of foreset noises which incudes birds singing, it has an accositc guitar in the backgroung and wand noises which links to the fairy theme. this music will keep the child interested in the film. No loud noises are used as it doesn't connect to the theme and it wounldn't be suitable for the opening of the film. Some sounds are repeted to emphasise the fiary theme.
CREDITS
The creits will consist of various colours and font. This will keep the child interested in the film and the clours will appeal to them more than black bold writing. the credits will move slowly over the screen so the children can read them. The backgroung for the opening scene will stay the same through out, it is a castle this shows that the film will be ste in the castle and we want to keep it simple so it is suitable for the target audience. We want the title Fariy Dust to stand out so this has been created in a different way, we cut out letters from magazines that spell fairy dust and these will appear at the beginning of the film one after the other and then fade for the other credits to continuse for the rest of the film opening.
EDITING
I have realised that the editing of a film is a lot harder than I thought. It is very time consuming and a lot of effort is needed.
The editing is simple so it appeals to the target adudience and so that the credits are seen.
The fairies, cloudes, titles ect will move to andfrom the screne and fade out for the next thing to appear, this has all been created through editing.
Overall I have found that making the childrens film has been harder than I though and reqires more individual work and team work.
